127 Hours Review

You will be blown away! 127 Hours is one of the best Danny Boyle films around. It is brilliant, riveting, and jaw-dropping. You will be inspired and astonished by the true story of Aron Ralston. James Franco is at his best.

127 Hours is about a full time hiker named Aron Ralston (Franco) who goes hiking in the canon until all of a sudden he climbs down a hole out of the middle of no where and a boulder falls on his arm. He tries and tries to get out and survive by using his certain tools and saving water to keep him alive. Although with the days going by he realizes that the only way out is to severe his own arm. Do not miss 127 Hours.

The King's Speech review

From a depressed professor to a brilliant achievement of betraying a man with a speech impediment. The King's Speech is brilliant, inviting, heartfelt, and a historic story. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will not want to leave the theater. It is film that will win some for oscars. Including academy award winner Colin Firth, academy award winner Geoffrey Rush, and best actress Helen Bonham Carter.

The King's Speech is the extraordinary true story of King George VI  (Firth) a gifted king but with one challenge. A speech impediment that he has had for years. With his days of being king he realizes he is going to have to speak in front of audiences more and his embarassment is stuttering. With the help from his wife Queen Elizabeth (Carter) he meets a speech therapist named Lionel Logan (Rush). Within the king's days of going to therapy, Logan is trying to help prepare him every step of the way for his big speech in London. The treatment involves strengthening his diaphragm and constant repeats and motions to help him prevent his stutter. With this help both develop a friendship and become partners. Will the king have the power to speak? Find out in The King's Speech. See it before oscars.

True Grit Review

No Country For Old Men and Fargo creators change their pace to a western. True Grit is truely a masterpiece. Jeff Bridges, Matt Damon, and Josh Brolin are just incredible in this western classic. It simply can't be missed.

True Grit follows the story of one man named Rooster Cogburn (Bridges) Who is asked by a little girl to help avenge her fathers death. That girl is Mattie Ross (played by Hailee Steinfeld) who is anxious to see the killer Tom Chaney (Brolin) killed in her town. Although Cogburn and Ross cannot do this alone. That Leads to Laboeuf (Damon) a comedic but fearless Texas Ranger. Will Ross avenge her fathers death? Go and see True Grit to find out.

The Social Network Review

From a stolen website to a masterpiece. The Social Network is brilliant, enthralling, enigma, and mesmerizing from begining to end. I sank in my seat by how amazing the acting was and how Mark Zuckerberg (Jesse Eisenberg) told his entire story of how he made Facebook an amazing social network. You won't want to leave the theater. Forget Zombieland, this film is Jesse Eisenberg's masterpiece and nominating role. Although he also played well in the Squid and the Whale as well but this one was better.

The Social Network is about Facebook's creator Mark Zuckerberg (Eisenberg) who was enthralled by the twin Winklevoss's to help him develop a website but the problem is instead of working with them he worked on his own and invented it his way which turned to problems like comparing girls over websites, violating copyrights, and violating individual privacy. But with all the money he makes for this site he finds himself in two cases. One with the Winklevoss's and one with his best friend Eduardo Sanchez (played by Andrew Garfield). Winklevoss's are suing him for stealing their idea (although he made it better) and Eduardo Sanchez is suing him for 600 million dollars for not keeping his name in the inventers of facebook. Will Mark Zuckerberg get through with these two cases and let the world of Facebook be a blast or will he lose so much money? Find out in the Social Network.

The film Tarek has not seen but is trying to before the Oscars.
